Elisa Petroni was born in Buenos Aires in 1977, has a degree in psychology and music therapy in Argentina and was trained as a play therapist at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. She attended and taught at the International Diploma in Dialogical Practices (Fundación Interfas-The Taos Institute-Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez) directed by Dora Fried Schnitman in 2012 and 2013. She has been an active member of diploma courses, international conferences, summer schools and workshops facilitated by members of the Network for Dialogical Practices, presenting workshops and working groups related to the reaches of dialogic theory and the development of creative resources.
She works in her private practice in clinical psychotherapy with individuals, couples, families and groups from a dialogical and social constructionist perspective using creative and playful resources. She is also coordinator of multifamily groups in ANIDAR (NGO), working collaboratively with families and children in adoption process. On the other hand, she is part of Dispositivo Pavlovsky team in dealing with problematic substance use where she is training and multifamily meetings coordinator.
She is a member of Network for Dialogical Practices and Taos Institute.
She is part of the prestigious San Justo Women’s Choir conducted since 1956 by Maestro Roberto Saccente, pioneer of choral conducting in Latin America.
